CENTCOM, by issuing a statement, announced that today (Tuesday) at 5:45 p.m. Eastern time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps “in a surprise attack” fired several ballistic missiles from Iran toward U.S. forces deployed in the Middle East. CENTCOM said: all missiles fired from Iran were successfully intercepted and destroyed, and U.S. forces remain in full readiness and at high alert.
