Britain’s foreign secretary has summoned Iran’s ambassador in London in order to clarify that “Britain will not tolerate threats on its soil.”

David Miliband said that “Iran’s continued efforts” to undermine Britain’s security through its “criminal network, proxy groups, and malicious activities supported by the government” are “unacceptable.”

Andy Burnham, Britain’s prime minister, told members of the country’s parliament today that a security incident near RAF Fairford airbase in England was “almost certainly directed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran.”

Iran’s ambassador in London today again denied any role by Iran in the Fairford incident.
