🔻Between 430,000 and 480,000 absentee votes have not yet been counted
According to the Central Elections Committee of Israel, in this year’s election between 430,000 and 480,000 absentee votes have been cast into the ballot boxes.
This figure is lower than the 600,000 votes previously estimated, but as the counting of ballot papers continues, these numbers may change.
Absentee votes were mainly cast by military personnel, and it is expected that their counting will be completed by Thursday afternoon.
According to the Israeli newspaper “The Times of Israel,” these votes could have a significant impact on the outcome of the election; because each seat in the parliament is worth about 40,000 votes, equivalent to almost 12 seats.
