Austrian officials announced that they had disrupted a network to circumvent sanctions that included a company based in Vienna accused of supplying equipment used by Russia’s defense industry to produce missile and fighter engines.

The company forged end-user documents and routed specialized metalworking tools and CNC machines through shell companies in Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Poland, and Lithuania before they reached companies linked to the Russian Rostec holding.

Investigators estimate that more than €3.3 million worth of industrial equipment has been delivered since 2022 to Russian weapons manufacturers. The company’s 28-year-old Belarusian director was arrested in May and remains in detention.
