Hamid Hosseini, the spokesperson for the Union of Exporters of Iran’s Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Products, told the “Ninety Economic” channel that the government of Masoud Pezeshkian is pursuing the implementation of an energy card plan for every family, which includes a share of gasoline, gas and electricity.

He added that this model is similar to Canada, in which each household has a specific quota of energy carriers, and if a family does not consume its quota, it can sell the surplus on the energy exchange market.
