Israel leads the region in the number of billionaires

The latest data from Forbes’ billionaire list for 2026 shows that Israel leads the region with 52 billionaires, followed by Turkey with 34 billionaires, and then Saudi Arabia with 12 billionaires.

These figures are particularly noteworthy given that Israel has been at war against terrorism on multiple fronts over the past three years, yet has managed to maintain its position as the region’s leader in the number of billionaires.

Israel also holds a prominent global position in terms of the number of billionaires relative to its population, indicating the strength of its technology-based economy, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship.
