Armenews, citing military sources on Yemen’s west coast, announced that on Tuesday morning, 20 Mordad, Houthi militias attacked a commercial cargo ship in the Strait of Bab al-Mandab, which, according to initial figures, led to the deaths of three crew members.

Al Arabiya network also reported that the ship was targeted with a ballistic missile.

According to reports, in the Houthi attack in Yemen, members of the militia supported by the Islamic Republic—two Pakistanis and one Indonesian—lost their lives.

Armenews, citing this military source, wrote: “Over the past night, the Houthi militias fired dozens of drones and missiles toward the port and the city of Mocha, and some of them were intercepted.”

This military source also added that, based on initial assessments, the attack on this ship along the international shipping route took place from rural areas in the west of Taiz Governorate.
