Aram Hasami, a professor of political science, said that America in response to attacks by the Islamic Republic, is pursuing an economic pressure strategy alongside a military response, and that its message is that as long as Tehran continues to make the region insecure, the pressures will continue.

He added that the Islamic Republic, by creating insecurity in the region, is also trying to increase the costs of sanctions for America and its allies, but the main question is whether Tehran will be able to withstand this economic pressure in the long term or not.
