Ali Khaziriyan, a member of the Parliamentary Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy, said: “There is a possibility that Trump, in order to prevent the consequences of the likely failure of Republicans in the midterm elections, will carry out a new military action against Iran.”

He added: “Trump may take military action between mid-Aban and mid- Dey, before the new U.S. Congress begins its work.”
