🔻After the United States and Turkey, Iran is the world’s third-largest record-holder for increased greenhouse gas emissions

A new report from the UN Environment Programme says that in 2025, greenhouse gas emissions in Iran increased by about 19 million tons; a figure that places Iran third in the world after the United States and Turkey, and at the top among countries outside the G20 group.
