According to The Sunday Times, a Hamas member who, after receiving asylum and citizenship, has lived in the UK for years, is accused of planning attacks against Jewish and Israeli targets in Europe.

The Sunday Times reported that this individual is the son of Basem Naim, a senior Hamas official, and previously worked on the protection team of Ismail Haniyeh.

He applied for asylum in 2015 and then received permanent residency and British citizenship.
