Abolfazl Shekarchi, senior spokesperson of the Islamic Republic’s armed forces, said that in the event of the possibility of the resumption of attacks by the United States and Israel, the armed forces would not accept the smallest retreat in front of the “enemy,” and added: “We have decided to suppress the enemy and move forward until its destruction.”

Shekarchi said on Saturday, Mehr 4, in an interview with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s state broadcaster (IRIB): “Initiative in the Strait of Hormuz is in the hands of the Islamic Republic. Any ship that passes outside the route set by Iran will not have security.”

The senior spokesperson of the Islamic Republic’s armed forces also held U.S. President Donald Trump and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for the killing of Ali Khamenei and other killed people, and said: “Even if the war ends, we will not let Trump, Netanyahu, and their accomplices off the hook. Whether they are in power or not, they will be brought to account for their actions.”
