Abdolnaser Hemmati, head of the Central Bank, said to ISNA on Tuesday, 27 Mordad: “Pressure has existed from the beginning and there is nothing new about it; they say they increase pressure to the maximum, and we also respond with maximum resistance.”

Hemmati added: “The threats by the U.S. president are not a new matter; he threatens every day in his remarks and messages, but we follow our own plans.”

The head of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic said: “In practice, they will see that these threats will not create any disruption in our path.”
