Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Houthis’ political bureau, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s proxy group, told Agence France-Presse: “If America intervenes in the aggression against Yemen, we will not hesitate in our decision-making on how to respond.”

He threatened that if Washington took part in the war, “a quick and painful response will await America and all of its interests in the region.”

Al-Bukhaiti also warned “all personnel and workers of oil facilities and airports in Saudi Arabia to stay away from these locations,” and said: “These points have become legitimate targets.”
