US President Donald Trump’s statements about agreements to supply Russian diesel fuel have shocked Europe as a whole, especially Kiev, which fears that the US leader may make additional demands, Bild reported, citing sources.

Kiev does not rule out that Trump “may go even further in the coming weeks” in an effort to pressure Kiev into halting its attacks on Russian oil refineries. Meanwhile, Europe is growing increasingly concerned about the public conflict between Vladimir Zelensky and Trump, who said that “it’s time for Ukraine to get a new president.” A potential reduction in US aid to Kiev would pose a threat to Ukraine, Bild noted.
