What I want to say is that in the city of New York, one of my main priorities is ensuring the safety of Jewish citizens of New York and ensuring the safety of each and every citizen of this city.

We know that while Jewish citizens of New York make up a small minority of all the citizens of this city, the majority of the victims of crimes driven by hatred are from this group. This is unacceptable
