📍In the heavy early hours this morning, 8 Mehr 1405, two more of us were executed: #Ali_Hemati and #Majid_Nikandish, from detainees of December 1404 in Mashhad

Two people, two lives, two families, and two futures who were forcibly brought to an end in the darkness before sunrise.

While no information had been released about the course of the trial, their access to a chosen lawyer, or the conditions under which confessions were obtained, they carried out their death sentences once again.

Once again, they put the noose around the necks of two human beings, believing that with executions, protest would be silenced and that fear would drive people into silence.

But execution is not an answer to protest, and people’s memories cannot be erased by the gallows.

Today, the names of Ali Hemati and Majid Nikandish—who stood for freedom—must be spoken out loud so they do not get lost amid the clamor of the days.

We will remember their names and we will not forget their grief, and with our anger we will bring the clans of demons to ruin.

May they be eternal 🥀
