🔺Israeli media claim: Bin Salman asked Israel for intelligence assistance via the United States

▪ The Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported that the Saudi Crown Prince, indirectly and through the Central Command of the United States, asked Israel for intelligence assistance in order to prevent the Bab al-Mandab Strait from being closed to the Houthis.

▪ According to this report, citing regional diplomatic officials, bin Salman has sent similar requests to other Gulf countries and Egypt.

▪ In his messages, the Saudi Crown Prince warned that closing the Bab al-Mandab Strait would cause severe damage to the entire region and the global economy.

▪ He emphasized that this “is not only a war of Saudi Arabia, but a conflict that affects the whole world,” and that the economic damage resulting from closing Bab al-Mandab could even be greater than the damage from closing the Strait of Hormuz.
