Yousef Tabatabaei-Najad, Friday Prayer Imam of Isfahan, said in the meeting of the Council of Higher Religious Studies at the seminary in this city: “The decline in the value of the national currency and inflation are natural consequences of any war, and in this regard one can refer to the experience of neighboring countries such as Iraq, which, even with support from the United States, after the war faced a severe drop in the value of the currency.”

Tabatabaei-Najad added: “Targeting the country’s vital infrastructure has led to rising prices, but despite being in a full-scale war situation, the government has been able to manage affairs well.”
