Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik dismissed a UN human rights report on sexual violence in Ukraine as "baseless fabrications," calling it a crisis in the international human rights system.

He said the report relies on unverifiable sources and aims to "demonize and dehumanize Russia," adding that Ukraine and the UN are using a sensitive issue for "opportunistic purposes."
