🗣 Your account: Imposing costs of public schools on families — Sunday, 10 Aban
🔹 A public school took 5 million toman in tuition from us, but it has no facilities.
🔹 During enrollment, schools take money from parents under different pretexts, and when it comes time to issue report cards, they hold the report cards hostage and do not hand them over until they receive the money.
🔹 After my son’s school received money from parents, now it’s looking for charity to cover other expenses. The government provides no help to schools.
🔹 Public schools, just like private (non-profit/tuition-based) schools, and under various pretexts, collect tuition and obtain assistance from families.
🔹 A few days ago, the school sent a message saying to deposit 250,000 toman per person for paper expenses. Since the beginning of the year until now, every day they need some kind of contribution. They even say that for expenses inside the school—what’s been broken—you should pay as much as you can.
🔹 Schools even take the cost of “wrench paper” from students. They’re just about to take teachers’ salaries from parents too.
🔹 In public schools, even the cost of water, electricity, and gas bills is the responsibility of parents.
