Yemen’s foreign minister: Without a “stable Yemeni,” regional security cannot be achieved Yemen’s foreign minister, recognized by the international community, said in a message on the social media platform X that regional stability depends on stability in Yemen.

Afrah Al-Zuba’a said in his speech at the “Manama Dialogue” conference that the restoration of Yemen’s state institutions is a “shared responsibility.”

Al-Zuba’a said: “Without a stable Yemen, there will be no enduring regional security, and Yemen will not be stable without the state’s exercise of sovereignty over all of its territory—one in which weapons and decision-making regarding war and peace are exclusively in the hands of the country’s legitimate and lawful institutions.”

The Yemen foreign minister also condemned the ongoing siege of the city of Taiz by the Houthis and called it a “war crime” that requires “a decisive international action to end it.”
