Yemen’s cabinet announced at a Sunday meeting on 19 Mehr in Aden, Yemen’s temporary capital, that the country is at a decisive stage, the core of which is the recapture of sovereignty over all of the country’s territory and putting an end to the Houthi coup, which is financed and guided by the Iranian government.

At the cabinet meeting, Yemen’s Prime Minister Maeen Shaiab Zandi said that after the Houthis carried out attacks and lost their leverage regarding the Bab al-Mandeb, they have aimed to target civilians and non-military facilities, thereby pushing the scope of the fighting into these areas.

According to him, this hostile approach targets Yemen and Saudi Arabia and threatens the security of the region and the safety of shipping and air transport.

The Yemeni prime minister emphasized that the terrorist actions of the Houthis will not change the course of the battle, will not stop the advance of the forces, and will not return conditions to what they were in the past.
