In response to the deadly Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Prince Reza Pahlavi said the attack is the latest evidence that the Islamic Republic government has never sought peace.

He wrote in a message on the X social network: “Since 1357 [1979], the Islamic Republic has waged war against Saudi Arabia, directly and through its proxy forces, and has been seeking to create instability.”

Conveying condolences to King Salman, the King of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, the crown prince of the country, and the people of Saudi Arabia, over the deaths of a number of people in the attack, he called it “terroristic.”

He added: “The Houthis and their disruptive actions will end only when Iran is freed and friendly relations between the two countries are restored.”
