🔻Washington Post: Trump, fearing Iran’s threat, secretly returned to the United States from Turkey with another military plane

The Washington Post, in a report, wrote that Donald Trump, during his return from the recent NATO summit in Ankara, secretly left Turkey on a Turkish military aircraft. This action was taken due to concerns about a threat posed by Iran to the President of the United States.

According to the Washington Post, reporters and some White House staff thought that Trump was taking the same old Air Force One plane that he had boarded in Ankara in front of television cameras. But minutes after boarding, Mr. Trump was transferred via a truck carrying airport catering equipment to a smaller aircraft, of the C-32A type, and went to an air base in Britain.

Based on this report, the White House was pretending that he was returning to the United States on the “Air Force One.”

Mr. Trump, on his trip to Turkey, went to the NATO summit on a new luxurious aircraft that Qatar had presented to him and that had been equipped for presidential use. Before leaving Ankara, he said the new plane would be sent to the United States earlier so that American forces stationed in eastern England would have the opportunity to examine it, and he himself would take part of the return route with the old Air Force One. The White House has not yet commented on the Washington Post report.
