According to Tasnim News Agency, Ali Karimi Maqam, the Second Secretary of Iran’s mission to the United Nations, said that Bahrain “has provided its land, bases, and airspace to the United States so that they can be used to initiate an unlawful war against the Islamic Republic of Iran.” He said that Bahrain “cannot be surprised by the consequences of that now” and warned this country and other countries in the region not to allow their territory or airspace to be used for attacks on Iran. The Third Committee of the UN General Assembly addresses matters related to human rights, humanitarian, and social issues.
