🚨 Urgent plea from prison and immediate risk of execution for #Ahad_Shokoeyan

“Be my voice so that the execution of an innocent person can be prevented.” This message from Ahad Shokoeyan, a 38-year-old protester and a simple market worker, is coming from inside Ghezalhesar Prison in Karaj.

He is the caretaker of his elderly mother and his physically disabled brother. He was arrested on 18 Dey 1404.

Despite video footage from security cameras clearly showing that he did not enter any location and had no role, Judge Eiman Afshari, in Branch 26 of Tehran’s Revolutionary Court, issued a sentence of execution three times for him without regard to the evidence. In extremely difficult conditions, Ahad is worried about his family’s fate and is waiting, moment by moment, for the sentence to be carried out. Our silence puts this innocent worker’s life at risk—be his voice.
