UAE state media reported that U.S. President Donald Trump discussed with Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE president, on Tuesday in a telephone call about opportunities for cooperation and “ways to further strengthen relations in line with shared interests.”

According to the report, Trump and Mohamed bin Zayed also “exchanged their views on the latest developments in the Middle East and the ongoing efforts to address these developments.”
