Ukrainian officials said that in Russia’s overnight missile and drone attacks on Kyiv and the areas around it, 17 people were killed and dozens were injured.

The Russian Ministry of Defense, in a statement, emphasized that it had targeted logistical centers and the supply chain of Ukraine’s military equipment in the capital of that country.

Moscow also reported an attack on three Ukrainian cargo ships near the port of Odesa, in the Black Sea.
