Ali Hossein Ghazi-zadeh, a member of the Iran International editorial board, believes that the Islamic Republic, due to internal issues in the country, cannot fully adhere to all the provisions of the understandings with the United States, and for this reason, reaching a stable agreement is out of reach. However, the two sides may reach a temporary agreement.
He added that if the Islamic Republic does not allow tanker traffic to return to the pre-war situation, then there will never be any possibility of achieving a lasting understanding.
