UK Maritime Trade Operations – UKMTO – One hour before the third maritime incident

UK Maritime Trade Operations – UKMTO – reported an hour before the third maritime incident near the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday, the eighth of November / 17 Aban.

According to the latest maritime incident reported to this organization: “The security officer of a tanker reported that the vessel, while passing through the exit from the Strait of Hormuz, was hit by an unidentified projectile.”

UK Maritime Trade Operations described two other reports on Sunday as follows:

- The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) received, with delay, a report of an incident 8 nautical miles northwest of Al Khaḍab, Oman. Military authorities reported that the tanker caught fire and, as a result, the crew evacuated the vessel.
