▪The U.S. Treasury Department, on Wednesday, 7 Mordad, announced a new round of sanctions and targeted two entities it described as the “Islamic Republic extortion network in the Strait of Hormuz,” while also applying new sanctions against several companies and tankers operating in Iran’s “shadow fleet.”
