U.S. Southern Command (Southcom) announced on Saturday, 19 Mehr, in a video that the air and ground forces of the country, in cooperation with Panama’s forces, have so far sent several tons of equipment and relief items to earthquake-affected areas, including 54,591 water packages, 50,621 food cans, and 11 medical tents.

According to Southcom, this relief effort follows the earthquake on 17 Mehr and is carried out at the request of the Government of Panama, and the U.S. Department of Defense is supporting the relief operation led by the U.S. Department of State.
