U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Thursday, 16 Mehr, during his trip to Portugal that the United States is capable of carrying out any operation and that there is nothing it wants or needs to do against the Islamic Republic that it cannot do.

Rubio added: “Amnesty International is a deceitful organization. You know what I think Amnesty International should focus on? The Iranian government, which has killed tens of thousands of people in the streets of Tehran and other parts of the country.”

He added: “Amnesty International should focus on the fact that when the Iranian government’s protesters are injured, it enters hospitals and kills them on hospital beds, and sometimes also kills the doctors or nurses who treated them. These are war crimes. These are crimes against humanity—crimes that the Iranian government commits against its own people.”
