▪ The U.S. Army has signed a contract worth up to $58.6 billion for the production of interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense system with Lockheed Martin; a contract that was concluded with the aim of increasing production of these missiles following the reduction of U.S. munitions stockpiles as a result of the wars in Ukraine and Iran.
