Turkey’s energy minister:

“We will increase the capacity of the alternative oil route to 2.5 million barrels per day.”

The Turkish energy minister, referring to the crisis of ship traffic and passage through the Strait of Hormuz, said that recent developments have shown the world needs alternative routes to transport oil, and that Ankara is in negotiations with Iraq to develop new energy export routes.
