According to a report by the newspaper «Yedioth Ahronoth», since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, about 9,000 Israeli officers and soldiers have been injured.

The report indicates that 77% of these individuals returned to service after treatment, while the rest are unable to perform their duties due to their health condition.

The report also highlights a growing psychological crisis in the army, noting that since the start of the war, 66 suicides have been recorded and requests for psychological treatments have increased significantly, while there is also a shortage of personnel.
