Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, strongly defended his country’s military operations in Iran, Gaza, and other parts of the Middle East in a speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

After dozens of lawmakers left the hall in protest at his presence behind the podium, Netanyahu stressed the continuation of the battle and said: “We will win. We have no other choice.”

In response to the lawmakers’ action, he said: “If there are any other, equally cowardly and unethical people who haven’t left the hall yet, please do so right now.”

The Israeli prime minister also rejected allegations that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza.
