The West mulling reinstalling military infrastructure and military facilities in Afghanistan is unacceptable, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu said at a meeting with the Islamic Emirate's minister of foreign affairs, Amir Khan Muttaqi.

“We view statements regarding a potential return of US and NATO military infrastructure and military facilities, being voiced in the West, as absolutely unacceptable,” the senior Russian security official said. “History has apparently taught them nothing,” he opined.
