◾Years ago, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s television arranged a kind of “critics’ desk” for the series “Sefr-e Sabz” (Green Journey) (Mohammad Hossein Latifi, 1381). The IRIB’s strange method throughout all these years—namely, the simultaneous presence of a critic and a maker of the film or series—started and was implemented from those years. When the director was faced with one or two mild critiques from the program’s expert/critic, he claimed that his series’ script was formed with “inspiration from revelation and based on verses of the Quran.”
