The United States and 9 other countries, in a statement, condemned the Islamic Republic’s terrorist activities, infiltration operations, and Tehran’s disruptive actions and those of its proxy groups in the Western Hemisphere.

Shahram Khaledi, a researcher of Middle East history and international relations, said that international pressures against the Islamic Republic are no longer limited to diplomatic positions and that countries have entered a phase of coordination for practical actions. He added that the circle of pressure and economic, security, and diplomatic blockade against the Islamic Republic is tightening.
