Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said Washington is “crushing” the Islamic Republic and stressed that the Iranian government will not obtain nuclear weapons.

Trump added that the crisis will end “very soon,” and afterward, oil prices will fall sharply. He also said that the U.S. Navy and Army have performed “incredibly” during the blockade and that more oil is now passing through the Strait of Hormuz than before the war began.
