A U.S. Department of State spokesperson, in response to the newspaper “The Jerusalem Post,” confirmed a phone call on Monday between Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State, and Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel.

The call took place while Rubio was traveling from Washington to Iceland. No details of the conversation have been released.
