🔸 Tatiana Musio Bongonga, a French tightrope walker, walked the 400-meter route between two heaps of coal mine waste on Sunday, 29 Shahrivar 1405, in the city of Luce in the north of France.

🔸 The show was held at a height of about 100 meters and in the presence of a large number of spectators.

🔸 Luce is known as part of the industrial heart of France due to its long history of coal mining.

🔸 The two hills where the performance took place were also formed by the accumulation of coal extraction waste and are considered part of UNESCO’s world heritage.

🔸 In this 37-minute performance, Ms. Bongonga walked on the rope without being attached to a safety line, danced, and hung upside down from it.

🔸 After reaching the end of the route, she picked up the miners’ old lantern and held it above her head amid the applause of the spectators.

🔸 This French tightrope walker said the purpose of her performance was to honor the region’s mining heritage and to stress the importance of collective cooperation.

🔸 A group of volunteers kept the rope’s support lines steady from the ground during the program. Bongonga said this cooperation shows that big work cannot be done without the participation of others.
