TankerTrackers, the shipping-monitoring company, announced that a giant oil tanker belonging to Iran’s National Iranian Tanker Company loaded two million barrels of crude oil on Friday at the Azarpad pier in Khark Island. Based on the company’s announcement, this is the first loading observed at Khark Island since the end of Tir.

Based on the company’s assessment, the production of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s oil is roughly equal to the amount consumed by domestic refineries.

Ventured also reported that the West Khark terminal became active for the first time on 21 Mordad and ended 25 consecutive days of being left empty. Based on the company’s satellite images, a giant oil tanker with its crude tracking system switched off and measuring about 333 meters in length has berthed and loaded.

Ventured added that this is the same tanker that had been expected in the area since 20 Tir.
