The spokesperson for the government of the Islamic Republic claimed that a «new aircraft that had been purchased was completely destroyed as a result of a direct missile impact.»

Fatemeh Moghajerani, at a press conference on Tuesday, the sixth of Mordad, explained the damages caused by military tensions between the United States and the Islamic Republic, but did not specify which airport this aircraft had been targeted at.

She also claimed damage to the airports of Iranshahr, Semnan, and Bandar Abbas, and added that the Boushehr airport facilities are practically unusable and must be built from the beginning.

In another part of her remarks, the government spokesperson for President Pezeshkian claimed that almost nothing remains of facilities such as the Boushehr meteorological center. The Chabahar sea surveillance control tower has also been severely damaged.

Moghajerani also reported damage to 12 bridges and two tunnels during wartime.
