South Korea’s Foreign Ministry has recalled eight employees of its embassy in Kiev, Foreign Minister Cho Hyun said during parliamentary hearings.
The foreign minister said the decision was prompted by the Ukrainian side’s statements, including remarks about the situation along the border with North Korea. At the same time, statements made during the hearings indicated that Seoul does not rule out the possibility that the dispute could jeopardize diplomatic relations between the countries.
