Siaush Isaipour, an Iranian student living in Paris, said about his field observations of the protests in Paris and comparing them with protests in Iran and remarks by officials of the Islamic Republic: «The Islamic Republic is lying about protests in France. Despite the violent behavior of some demonstrators, the French police tried to respond with restraint, and there was no internet shutdown either.»
