Seyyed Musa Shabiri Zanjani, one of the Shiite marjas, died in Qom on Sunday, 30 Shahrivar. Fars News Agency reported that he had been hospitalized since Friday due to gastrointestinal bleeding and a respiratory condition.

Shabiri Zanjani was born on 11 Esfand 1306, and in 1373, following the death of Mohammad-Ali Araki, he was introduced by the Society of Teachers of Qom Seminary as one of seven marjas of emulation approved by the government.
