🔺Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization: The Strait of Hormuz still has mines and is not safe

▪The Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization said the organization’s information shows that mines are still in the Strait of Hormuz, and as long as fighting continues, it cannot be guaranteed that a ship passing through the route will not hit a mine.

▪Arsenio Dominguez told Fox News that during the fighting, it is very difficult to use third parties to verify that the route is clear of these dangers.

▪According to him, there is only one route approved by the International Maritime Organization, accepted in 1966 and shown on all nautical maps. Dominguez said that because of the fighting, two other routes have also been created, but none of them have gone through the organization’s official process.
